Sick paleo. An attempt at the fantastic Korean dish dak galbi, which is a thick, spicy, reduced chicken dish that gets your sinuses running like a marathoner. When you’ve got a winter cold, this stuff is AWESOME.
My version’s made with cube steak - cheaper than chicken here, thank you Brasil - sliced cucumbers, carrots, and onions sauteed with tomato paste and finely diced super-hot red peppers. It was so nice to have some legitimately spicey food, as Brasilian food tends to be quite good, but not containing even a bit of what could be called “kick”.
